Princess Bugaboo is 3

To know me is to know I’m obsessively in love with my nieces – for all their quirks, drama (that hits close to home), snuggles and even occasionally the big fat tear that slips out, evoking the most sympathetic and forgiving reaction to even the naughtiest of behaviors.

Princess Bugaboo, aka Josie, has turned 3. Ack. Hard to believe it – but good thing there’s another baby girl on the way – more pink, tiaras, dress up games and fun to come for many years.

Here is Josie’s mini-preview from her 3 yr session today. And for those who are wondering, my nieces do NOT like to sit still for me 😉

three times the charm

We all know I love babies, so that I loved this shoot, with THREE of them should come as no surprise to anyone. These precious triplets were a challenge, and every surface in the studio was “blessed” with their presence – – – and I would not have traded it for anything. Three times the snuggles!!

A little tiltsty

I took the original photo with the intent to run a little edit on it – and give it that fun “tiltshift” look….

The original was taken on the rooftop of Circulo de Bellas Artes in downtown Madrid (right in the center) with a photography exhibit overlooking the most gorgeous city view.

A little more dutch

Anyone who knows me knows I love Spain. I’ve felt like it was a country I could live in – I love the people, the culture, the food, the wine.

But let’s face it, I’m just a little more Dutch than I am Spanish…(considering I’m not the tiniest smidge Spanish). So in honor of that, and all sweet Dutch treats, here’s a few more photos of the “motherland.”

My snuggle bug

Gabe has been my snuggle bug for a year now – Sundays at church, hanging out with his mom – it doesn’t matter, this is my little man. I’ve done pics of him for 9 months now (?), and wow, was he much easier to work with when he couldn’t run away from me.

Gabers, I love you buddy. Happy 1st birthday! (And I love you too Sol – you’re my other “little man”)
