Documenting life in all its stages took a turn for me a few years ago just before the birth of our first daughter. At about half way through the pregnancy, I was blessed to document the birth of my dearest friend’s son, and fell in love with being able to capture the raw emotional power of birth in timeless images.

Since then I’ve had the honor of being present for the first breaths of a number of sweet babies, and now that mine have grown a bit, my capacity to help share other families’ stories has grown.
