old school….new cool (new website)

Well not really that old…but the organization I used to work for, Worldwide Christian Schools, just launched their new website, designed by mindutopia, the company owned by my very good friend, Rudy Malmquist.

In 2009 I was fortunate enough to go to India on a trip with WWCS, for the purposes of collecting individual student photos for the program “Student Hope.” My goal was to provide WWCS with creative photos of children, rather than the standard photos typically found in sponsorship programs – children lined up against a wall looking sad and helpless. I wanted to show their beauty, their vitality, and to give dignity to them through their portraits. It was hard, fast, HOT work in the blazing Indian sun – trying to capture 150 children in the short span of two or three hours at each school, but it was also a time I will never forget.

Please check out these fabulous new websites:

And…consider sponsoring a child yourself!
