random sightings…

In the past few weeks I’ve noticed my pictures showing up in random places. Ok, some aren’t random, but still exciting for me to see happen!

At first it was the occasional friend’s myspace page….or on the wall of their house….well those make sense.

The organization I work for has rebuilt the website, which is full of my images:
www.comprenew.org

I opened the 2007 Annual Report for Degage Ministries, and there were six of my images on the inside…candid portraits of patrons taken when I was down volunteering one Saturday.

I was told in December that a bridal portrait I took ended up on a random website – offbeatbride.com http://offbeatbride.com/2007/08/floral-hairstyle#comment-4636

My good friend, Clint, had me come out to Titan Equipment and take some shots:

and the use of it here:

Another random, and I mean random posting, happened when I got an email through flickr that a web service named schmap wanted to use a photo I took in Spain in 2006 at a fantastic restaurant in Toledo, Hierbabuena. Roasted pheasant with a saffron mushroom cream sauce…to die for (and I have since recreated it, it’s phenomenal!).

Anyway, the site is here:

It’s so fun to see my pictures pop up from time to time (when used appropriately and with permission and/or credit given….

I look forward to more opportunities – currently in the works VanBeek’s Custom Wood Products, and more portraits for Degage Ministries!

Keep posted…or I’ll keep posting!

Kim & Matt

Thanks for being troopers & heading out in the cold & snow with me. I’m glad we didn’t wait until today – we would have needed umbrellas & rainboots.

I’m getting a few processed in between all the family stuff and play-doh time and sticky sucker fingers and new baby cries….

The rest of your set will be found here:

Talk to you soon!!!

Way Cool Wyma Wedding

Jules, my darling friend….I still remember the first day I met you and how beautiful I thought you were – your personality, your smile, your GINORMOUS HEART. You have blessed my life immensely, and taught me so much about being adored, wooed and pursued by God. You showed me how beautiful it was to be passionately in love with God. It was wonderful to see that in your life – and also to see you passionately in love with your husband. Scott, you have a gem on your hands. I’m happy I could be a guest at your wedding to witness this step in your lives.

But as a photographer, I couldn’t stop myself from taking pics for you. So while not an official job, I had fun trying to capture a few moments for you.

Enjoy!
