try try and tri again

June 28th marks the 3rd Annual Bostwick Lake Triathlon, and my second round of photographing the event. It is a great “first tri” for anyone looking to start doing triathlons, and is extremely family friendly – all kids are invited to participate in their own triathlon after the adult one has finished.

Tango Time

A few weeks ago I went to visit my friend, Gloria, in Ann Arbor. That Saturday evening was a tango festival, and Molly & I were able to be geeks with our cameras and snap a few pictures.

Gloria used one of my images for a poster for an upcoming event, so if you’re in the Ann Arbor area, be sure to snag one for me!

A summer’s day for the Winters

Jillian and Travis started their life as one on Saturday – with a beautiful ceremony at the White River Lighthouse. It was nice to see two young adults (yes, kids, you’re young to this older lady) remain solid in their commitment to each other. I wish you the best, and pray that you continue to grow to know each other better.

The Urban Anti-bride

Ok, in Iona’s defense, she’s not an anti-bride, she’s just (along with Chris), extremely willing to let me take them down Grandville Avenue and explore pushing the idea of traditional engagement photography to just over the edge of traditional into well….fun!

I won’t be able to do their wedding, it is in Italy, but I have the privilege of photographing their reception when they come home, and got to spend this time with them.

I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed shooting.
