Mandy & Keith…your whole day seemed to be just showered in love…yours…your parents….grandparents….friends. It was beautiful to see, and to be able to celebrate with you.
May your life be even more blessed than your day.

Amanda and Nathan, a former roommate and her soon-to-be-husband let me run around an orchard with them for their e-pics. I’ll be shooting & celebrating their wedding in a few weeks, so it was fun to do these shots with them!

Those are the words I’ve heard from Cole, the eldest of the Morton Clan. And frankly, they should be….famous for so many things: a home filled with love, laughter, and hospitality. Chad and Jodi have been friends for a few years now, but the more I get to know them, the more I appreciate them and admire their lives. I’m honored to be their friend, and to have been able to challenge myself to try and capture some of the fun they have as a family.
Here’s their mini-gallery:

Ok, so we weren’t really on the farm the whole time, but it certainly did feel like it. Maybe a fashion farm. Kudos to Holly for wardrobing the whole family. If anyone wants to hire her, I don’t know if she’s available, but I’m selling her services anyway.
Here’s the first set of this fantastic family.

Each one unique, almost as unique as my dear friends Anya and Billy. I was happy/honored/excited to be a part of their day – even though it was completely waterlogged….or rather, a complete monsoon!!! The outdoor pictures/wedding/reception quickly became indoor pictures and an under-the-tent relatively dry ceremony.
In the spirit of creativity and flexibility, all of the group shots were done at the following GR local locations:
Slingshot Bikes on Market/Wealthy
The Literary Life (bookstore) on Wealthy/Eastern
The Sparrow (coffee house) on Wealthy
and The Blue Door (antique shop) on Fulton

and off to Traverse City for Sheana & Chris’ wedding….another “hometown” wedding!!

Jennifer & Adam….my GORGEOUS bride who could find a pose like nobody’s biz….and what a BLAST of a wedding party. Alas, I had to jump in the car and head towards Seattle that night!

Four weddings in two weeks. Yup, four. The first was my sister’s recommitment ceremony:

So the last month has been a complete and total whirlwind, and I can’t believe I haven’t posted since August 30.
So since then….Tessa had her 1.5 yr old session (she was one of my first sessions a year ago!).

So in the interest of time, one picture…..and a link to more!
