I looked out the window today to see the most brilliant blue sky – despite frigid temperatures. Grand Rapids is full of beautiful churches, so I jumped in the car and drove around town to try and capture a few steeples/spires with a beautiful sky.

Josie, my niece, celebrated her first birthday today – actual birthday is tomorrow. We celebrated with cake & pizza. She ate half her body weight. Really.

Hard to believe, but this precious little girl is 9 months old already. I’ve seen Skyla at 2 wks, 1 month, 3, and 6 now….and it has been so far to capture each stage of this angel’s life.

Aletha Vandermaas…of Pearls Events….is one to watch. This girl is going to take the wedding planning world by storm, if not by taking over the entire worldwide web.

I was so excited on Friday to receive an email from my print studio, Color Incorporated telling me one of the photos I had printed was selected as a staff favorite that week….until I realized it wasn’t a photo I had taken!
