TW: infant loss . . Last week I (what feels like TW: infant loss

Last week I (what feels like finally) got to meet and photograph this precious baby, Arthur Mitchell. He and his brother, Kellen Thomas, were born in October, way too many weeks early. Sadly, after battling so hard, Kellen left this world at a week old, and Arthur has just made it home. he's doing great, he's precious, snuggly, chubby, delicious, and

This was so bittersweet because so many of us had followed with excitement the announcements from Alli and Mitch, prayed for them so much, and mourned with them.

Arthur, we are so glad you are here, and know your angel brother will always be watching over you. (I still expect you to give mom plenty of mischief to manage...)

It's been a while since I posted some of our #covi It's been a while since I posted some of our #covidschool adventures - I'll just say that it's mostly because we had some struggles towards the end of the semester with virtual school, and none of us had much "extra" in us.

The past few days Eleanor has wanted to do some science experiments, and we did a couple - and today she made up her own. She wrote out the ingredients, the steps, did all the measuring, and we didn't know exactly what would happen - but we did it anyway!

As she completed her last step, she said "it looks like a galaxy!"

And so the "Eleanor's Galaxy" experiment was named and completed. (Now to teach her about cleaning up your lab.....)

We really wanted a snowy day, and we actually had a little snow - which was a fun surprise!

Thanks for letting me document this special time for your beautiful family!

Extended fall continues - and today I got to spend Extended fall continues - and today I got to spend time with Paul and Beth, and provide some FUN photos for their Christmas card. These two have a beautiful love for each other - and there was so much laughter (especially when someone walked by using a doggie poop bag as a mask)!

Thanks for being so great you two!
This family, oh how wonderful it was to spend time This family, oh how wonderful it was to spend time with them - if only for family pictures .

You'll recognize our sweet Kaden, who we haven't been able to have over the past couple weeks because we are sticking to the "one family" rule. We all miss him so much! (I couldn't even tell Eleanor ahead of time that I would see him!)

Amir and Dan have been friends for a while, and when I met Mel, I knew immediately she was someone I wanted to know better...and then Covid hit. So I really need you all to do your part so we can spend more time with our friends, ok???

Anyway - back to this sweet silly family. I love the laughter and joy the exude - so thanks, friends, for letting me capture this moment in time for you.

Last weekend was one of those days, and so I was able to sequence in two beautiful family sessions - the first with our amazing neighbors and their little one.

This weekend looks just as amazing, so if you're interested, I can squeeze in some more sessions! Just DM for details!
